GLEN EIRA CITY COUNCIL: KING GEORGE RESERVE – DRAINAGE CELL®

King George reserve was subject to waterlogging.  Gecko installed their ‘drainage cell’ system to stabilisation the surface. Shock-pads and Synthetic Grass were then installed and bordered with rubber safety logs to provide a cushioned, stable surface in the run-up to the cricket nets.  View Case Study: Glen Eira City Council

Mirabooka Reserve Cricket Nets

WHITEHORSE CITY COUNCIL – MIRABOOKA RESERVE:CRICKET PRACTICE NETS AND PITCH SYSTEM

The site of the Mirabooka Reserve Cricket Practice Nets was originally a green field area adjacent to Orchard Grove Primary School and formed part of a network of suburban parklands and community sporting ovals known as Mirabooka Reserve. The Council was approached by the local community cricket clubs to provide a cricket practice faclity that could be used by the community all year round.
